It’s good I don’t count the number of sandwiches I eat in Paninoteka. It would be close to the number of little statues exhibited on the floor (and that is like one third of them).

Govori se, da se bomo od sobote 19.6.2010 dalje na prireditvi Artmarket srečali le na Bregu, nič več na Šuštarskem mostu. Govori se tudi, da bo jutri dež, dež, dež.

Miha (my boyfriends brother and very talented art student) made this imaginative portrait from clay just for fun in around four hours. His ears are big, because he is an old men. I didn’t know that your ears get bigger the older you get and that it is the only part of the body that never stops growing.

Sailor for life

Something has got me thinking, and I realised that the more I travel, the more I want to travel. It’s a neverending story. Not that you would ever want it to end, but it is something that you just don’t have a chek list for. Been to Thailand (twice) and still want some more. Been to Bali, and still want some more. Been to NYC (three times) and still want some more…

And after reading a story of Johan Pergeniuses Sailor, it was spot on. So simple and so true. Now one of the Sailors is sitting on my desk, looking outside and wondering; where should he sail next. Isn’t he cute, with his boat. I have a boat like that, you are just unable to see it.

“Sailor has been to many places and still longing for some more.”
Johan Pergenius

I know where I’m sailing next. I have been there already and I will have some more.

Artist at work

Zanimive umetnine nastajajo v delavnici. Ven s starim prahom in not z novim. Čiščenje v času ustvarjanja nima smisla in nesnaga lahko pomeni tudi sposobnost domišljije. To sem vedno govorila in še vedno pravim, čeprav imajo moji starši težave z razumevanjem tega. Slike 1, 2 in 4 so delo bodočega akademika Mihe Kneza.

Some interesting art is being created in the studio. And it’s out with the old dust and in with the new. There is no point in cleaning when one is creating. And the mess can indicate the ability of imagination. That is what I say, but my parents had hard time understanding that. Art in images 1, 2 and 4 is work of Miha Knez.
