The Artmarket cookbook is out and my thrill turned into plethora of question marks and exclamation points. I have never seen a black and white cookbook until today. Have you? If anything, food photography needs color.
My contribution is African Bobotie. It takes a long time to make, but it’s well worth it. I know I will try Nika’s Corn Pancakes and Miša’s Palestinian Makluba.

The choice of restaurants on Silba is rising every year. One restaurant decided to go with a different concept. I find this so amusing, because it is a very tipical way of doing things here. They didn’t change anything. The ambient (if you can call it that) is the same, the menu is the same, so I guess hiring a woman, dressed in edelweiss costume and playing clasical music on a synthesizer is enough for Weinna-Mozarty concept. I wonder if you get Mozartkugeln with the bill.

Don’t you get the feeling that in some places time stands still. I have a feeling that I was on holiday for two weeks or more, yet I was gone for a week. Great deal with time.

Yeah I know, bwaaahh. But this snake is a friendly one.
The whole year we dream of this grilled squid at Luka’s place. This is always the first thing we do.

It’s good I don’t count the number of sandwiches I eat in Paninoteka. It would be close to the number of little statues exhibited on the floor (and that is like one third of them).
Govori se, da se bomo od sobote 19.6.2010 dalje na prireditvi Artmarket srečali le na Bregu, nič več na Šuštarskem mostu. Govori se tudi, da bo jutri dež, dež, dež.
